Christmas light installation in San Clemente.
San Clemente's founder sold 1,200 lots in six months and lost every one of them to the Depression — the Spanish tile roofs he mandated outlasted him. We design, install, maintain, remove and store lighting for the homes that came after.
San Clemente, you were founded by a man with a rule: build Spanish, or build somewhere else. A century on, Ole Hanson's white stucco and red tile still set the tone from the Pier Bowl to the hills — and hanging Christmas lights on barrel tile without cracking a single one is its own quiet craft. Our Christmas light installation in San Clemente is built around both: designs that respect the Spanish Village by the Sea, and tile-safe methods that leave no trace come January.

White stucco, red tile, warm white C9.
Red tile is the through-line here, and it changes the job. Barrel tile can't be nailed, screwed, or guessed at — C9 runs ride purpose-made clips that grip tile and eave without a single penetration, so the roof Ole Hanson insisted on stays exactly as he insisted. On the Spanish Colonial Revival homes of Southwest San Clemente and the Riviera District, that means clean lines tracing genuine 1920s rooflines. Up in Talega and Forster Ranch, the newer Spanish-style homes run bigger footprints and longer eaves — more wire, same discipline. Along the coast, bluff homes above T-Street trade tile for view-first lines, and gated pockets like Cyprus Shore and Sea Pointe Estates hold custom estates that deserve a design, not a default.
Christmas light installers who treat every roof like composition shingle do their real damage in towns like this one. We measure the facade, draw the run, and cut wire to the drawing — warm white C9 on commercial-grade cord, clipped tile-safe and level against all that white stucco, which flatters a straight line and exposes a lazy one.
Ole Hanson had standards. We kept them.
The Spanish Village takes its look seriously, and the ocean takes its toll seriously — marine layer, salt, onshore wind climbing the bluffs. Coastal-rated fittings and commercial bulbs are standard here, because the Pacific doesn't offer warranties. Cyprus Shore — the gated enclave beside the old Western White House at Cotton's Point — and Sea Pointe Estates get access coordinated ahead of install day, with certificates of insurance delivered before anyone asks; we're bonded and insured. Hillside streets and the Pier Bowl's tight lanes get small crews and clean staging.
One more local note: the beach trail sees everything. Rooflines above the sand read for a long way down that stretch of coast, so we design ocean-facing facades to be seen from the trail as much as the street. Trestles draws the best surfers on earth to the south end of town — the rest of the coastline judges rooflines.
Installed, maintained, and off your roof by February.
The arrangement is season-long. Design comes from your address and facade, install lands on one scheduled day, and timers run everything from dusk onward. Mid-season problems are ours — holiday lighting maintenance is included — and tile-safe means removal-safe too: in January every clip releases clean, the runs get coiled and labeled, and it all winters in our storage instead of your rafters. Next season, you're a phone call ahead of everyone else.
San Clemente, specifically.
Will you drill or nail into our tile roof?
No. Barrel tile takes purpose-made clips — no screws, no nails, no adhesive residue. The runs hold through wind season and release clean in January. If an installer's plan for tile involves a drill, get a different plan.
Will warm white C9 look right on white stucco and red tile?
It's the best pairing in town. Warm white against white stucco reads as a glow, not a glare, and it complements the tile instead of competing with it. Multicolor has its fans; on Spanish Revival, warm white wins the argument — more in warm white vs. multicolor lighting.
Do you install inside Cyprus Shore and Sea Pointe Estates?
Yes. Gate access is coordinated with the community in advance, and certificates of insurance go to the HOA on request.
When should San Clemente homes book?
Designs confirmed by mid-fall get first choice of install dates; the back half of the calendar fills toward December. If you want the house lit before your first holiday guests, October is the comfortable call — see when to schedule holiday lighting.
For everything else, the sitewide FAQ applies in San Clemente the same as anywhere in our service area — or call 949-806-2333.
Up and down the 5 and PCH from here, we also hang Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach.
