Our commitment
We want this website to work for everyone who visits it, including people who use assistive technology — screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation among them. We treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering commitment, not a one-time fix, and we expect this statement to change as the site keeps evolving.
Conformance target
Our target is WCAG 2.2, Level AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C, and a widely used benchmark for professionally built commercial websites. We want to be precise about what that means: it's the standard we design and build to, not a certification we hold. This site has not yet been through a full, independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim to be "ADA certified" or "fully compliant" with WCAG — no such certification exists, and it would overstate where we are today. Based on our own internal review as we build, the site meets a meaningful share of this target already; other parts are still being verified.
What we've built so far
- Semantic HTML structure, so assistive technology can understand headings, lists, landmarks, and the overall shape of each page.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, the consultation form, and other interactive elements — nothing on this site should require a mouse.
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element when you're navigating by keyboard.
- Form fields with real, programmatically associated labels, not placeholder-only text standing in for a label.
- A discipline of writing descriptive alt text for meaningful photography and images as real project photography is added to the site.
- Text and interactive-element color combinations checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements before they're used.
- Support for your operating system's reduced-motion setting — if you've asked your device to minimize motion, this site's animation and transitions scale back automatically.
- A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
Known limitations
In the interest of being straightforward:
- This is a new, still-evolving website, and pages and components are still being built out.
- We have not yet completed a full, independent accessibility audit — automated or manual — of the site.
- Testing with real assistive technology, such as specific screen readers and browser combinations, is ongoing.
